Important Notice About Guided Update Services Pricing
Effective September 1, 2026, the current 50% discount on Guided Update Services to update to v15 will be reduced to 37.5%, effectively increasing the service fee from $2,000 to $2,500 (regular price $4,000).
To keep your upfront cost low, receive a one-time $500 credit towards your ongoing fees by undertaking to master ABELDent v15 using our Learning Management System (LMS) for all your staff. More importantly, this program is designed to prepare your office for a smooth, stress-free transition to v15 with minimal training. The $500 credit effectively reduces the Guided Update Services fee to $1,500 if you purchase before September 1st. After September 1st, the same credit will reduce the fee from $2,500 to $2,000. ABELDent Learning Management System is designed to prepare your office for a smooth, stress-free transition to v15 without requiring structured staff training time.
The ongoing fees for ABELDent Portal users remain unchanged, whereas non-portal users will see a $150/month increase to cover the cost of Patient & Cloud Services, which, in addition to automated messaging, contain many more features, including major AI functionalities. Text messages are billed monthly, retroactively, at 1 cent for every 160 characters. For example, the cost of 161-320 characters is 2 cents. Volume discounts are available for over 10,000 text messages.
To maximize the program’s effectiveness and efficiency and eliminate the need for additional devices, we will provide access to the following from your existing office computers, so your team can learn v15 in their spare time.

Savings opportunity for customers running unsupported SQL licenses
On July 14th, Microsoft terminated support for SQL 2016. Consequently, all non-cloud customers with unsupported (SQL 2016 or earlier) licenses who are not planning to upgrade to ABELDent Cloud immediately must purchase the required SQL licenses. However, if you purchase Guided Update Services to upgrade to ABELDent Cloud immediately, you do not need to pay for the SQL license updates we provide.
Scheduling delays may occur on our end due to the large number of customers seeking to upgrade to ABELDent Cloud. As long as you remain ready to upgrade promptly, ABELDent will bear the Microsoft compliance risk without holding you responsible.
